Our Story

The Early Years

Our story begins with Jax Azad. At the age of 5, he picked up his first camera as a Christmas gift from his parents. He ran around the house recording anything his little brain thought to be worthy. As he continued to grow up, he became more inspired by the works of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. He had a special place in his heart for Star Wars.

3D Animation: First Appearance

In 2021, Jax lived in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, where his father built a shed in the garage. It was Azads Studios' first physical space outside of Jax's bedroom. While isolated for hours a day inside, little did the Azad family know, Jax was working on something BIG. It was in this year, when Azads Studios made its first 3D animated short film using Blender! First Year of College = First Live-Action Short

In 2025, Jax enrolled into George Mason University as a film student. During his second semester, he wrote, directed, and produced his first live-action short film SCARECROW with a total of 36 cast & crew members. The final short film released onto YouTube and received 14 awards and 7 nominations at a regional, national, and international level.
